Abstract

The current issue of the Hamdard Islamicus No. 2 of 2016 comprises three research papers discussing legal, inter-religious and economic studies, gleanings from the Pakistani press and an obituary. From Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Sayed Sikandar Shah Haneef has critically examined the use of scientific technology in legal issues in his article entitled “DNA Test of Paternity in Islamic Law: Implications for Illegitimate Children Born Less Than Minimum Gestation Period in Malaysia”.
