The Effects of Begging on Human Character and its Remedy in the Light of Islamic Teachings

Abstract

Allah Almighty has made man the noblest of creatures and gave him the most important and high status among all creatures. He has given honor and respect to mankind. Gaining wealth through begging, requesting from others, and wandering from door to door for money and food is damaging to human dignity. The article tries to present the detail of guidance recieved from the Qur’an and Hadith.
